Cody Has a Tattoo??

I used my ultra cool Bombshell Stamps with some skin safe ink and markers to give the boy a temporary tattoo. I got some inspiration to do this from my girl Katie, she has a complete tutorial.

He had to have several different colors and of course, they had to be visible. He just wouldn't be able to stand it if no one was able to ask him about it. LOL He's a Leo down to the core.

I think it looks pretty awesome and hope it lasts only a few days. No more than that because he doesn't want to bathe....silly kid!!

PMS and Buttons

Monday means a new PMS challenge. This week we were challenged to use buttons on our projects, the always fabulous Dawn K is our hostess this week.

Now, buttons make look harmless and cute, but I have such a terrible time getting them to look right on my cards and projects. One of the reasons I never use them. Don't get me wrong, I love the look; I just can't do it. Same thing with chipboard....can't get it to look right. Ugh, I digress!!
The sketch is from Jen's SFYTT from last Saturday, a fun one with a few layers...just makes me smile. I took the opportunity to use the ever adorable Shelby again, along with luscious October Afternoon paper.

Make sure you take a look at the Paper Makeup Stamps blog to see what all the other DT gals did with buttons. I am certain they were a little more adventurous than I was. Ha! And, be sure to play along with us; you don't have to use PMS stamps. Just have fun and show it to us.

Butterflies and Flowers

This is my take on the black and white line art paper available; you then just color all or a portion of it. Here I just colored the petals of this flower.

The butterfly and flower are from the Butterfly Queen set available at Bombshell Stamps. These stamps are just full of detail and stamp beautifully. I just slather on some Aleene's Tack It Over & Over on the bare rubber and use my acrylic blocks.

Have a great weekend and don't forget about the SNR Event, details on my sidebar.

Sprout FS124

Scrapbook News and Review is having a special Double Issue coming up. Here is the call page, hope you find time to submit.

I was able to participate in the Featured Stamper challenge on SCS a few weeks ago, FS124. Christy S. was the Featured Stamper and I chose this card from her gallery.

I changed the colors, added mats to the panels, and used a different fairy. I just love Sprout, she's so cute. And, of course, here is more of the October Afternoon papers I am loving right now. Perfect for summer!

Be sure to make time to join us for a HUGE event at SNR on July 11th. You can see the information in my sidebar on the left. It promises to be lots of fun, always is. Lots of ideas and eye candy as well. You will absolutely love it!

QKD Sketch Challenge

If you have come to my blog on your own, you are missing a fantastic blog hop. If you have come via Vicki's blog, you are on the right track. You need to start at the QKD blog to see all the goodness from the beginning.

Today's challenge from Queen Kat Designs is a great sketch, hope you find time to try it out. I used my beloved Cupcake Friends stamp.

I paired up some fun papers from Cosmo Cricket and October Afternoon since they had some of the same colors in it. My last touch was tons of Dazzling Diamonds, love the stuff.

Thanks so much for your visit. Your next stop is Helene. Happy hopping!
